COMPOSITION OF THE HEAT TRANSFER MEDIUM

EKOFROST heat transfer medium is a solution of water and alcohol with special additives. Purified water with reduced hardness is used during production to increase the stability of the heat carrier.

USE

The heating circuit shall be airtight to prevent evaporation of the alcohol and changes in the properties of the heat transfer medium. The use of the heat transfer medium at temperatures > 30-35ºC is not allowed as the boiling point of the liquid is 75-80ºC. EKOFROST heat transfer fluid allows heating system start-up at negative ambient temperatures. It is necessary to ensure that the heating circuits are airtight so that the alcohol does not evaporate and the heat transfer medium does not lose its properties. The heat carrier is designed for continuous use for 7 years or 10 heating seasons with interruptions during the warm season.
