Hot water boilers

Hot water boilers prepare and store hot water for domestic use - drinking, washing, etc. They can be divided into different categories depending on the heat source used:

• Electric boilers, in which hot water is prepared using an integrated electric heating element. The simplest boiler, which does not require additional heating or solar irradiation;
• Combination boilers, which still have an integrated electric heating element, but in parallel a heat exchanger integrated in the tank, in addition to the solid fuel or gas boiler connection, depending on the boiler model. This makes it possible to provide heating much more quickly and also in the event that the electric heating element should fail for some reason;
• Fast heaters where the main heat source is one or more integrated heat exchangers to which heating sources can be connected, both high temperature and, using specially designed tanks, also heat pumps and solar collector systems. Such boilers usually also incorporate a flange or insert into which a conventional electric or solar heating element can be inserted;
• PV or solar boilers - boilers that use an electric heating element powered by solar panels to produce hot water - the green way to produce hot water!
