Heating radiators are used to heat a room using convection - the heat extracted from the heating system is fed to the radiators, which pass it on to the surrounding air. Unlike underfloor heating systems, radiators are easier to install, especially when renovating a building's heating system, but require a higher return temperature to transfer heat efficiently to the air (although larger radiators can be used for low-temperature systems - e.g. air-to-water heat pumps).
