Comparison between Aerauliqa residential recuperators

Comparison between Aerauliqa residential recuperators

Aerauliqa wall recuperators are one of the simplest units for exchanging air in a room, both in installation and use. It consists of a filter, a ceramic heat exchanger and a fan, housed in a casing with a square cover and a pipe at 100mm or 150mm diameter, depending on the model capacity.

There are currently three different models of this recuperator available in our online shop: Aerauliqa HR, Aerauliqa Quantum NEXT, and Aerauliqa Orion, which differ very little from each other in terms of appearance. The main difference between them is the recuperator control, which also influences their functionality. Below you can see the differences between them, as well as compare their performance based on the type of control:

  • Aerauliqa HR series is the simplest of the recuperators, coming as standard without a control switch. This wall-mounted recuperator can be controlled by different control switches, the simplest of which is a simple three-key switch that can be used to change the fan speed (three different speeds) as well as the direction of operation. The CTRL-S switch offered by the manufacturer can be used, or a regular switch purchased from a hardware store that meets the parameters can also be used. This is not the only way to control it, however. Specialised switches are also available on request, such as SEN-HY, which includes a humidity sensor and control based on it, or SEN-PIR with an infrared sensor and control depending on the illumination.
  • Aerauliqa Quantum NEXT recuperators are supplied with a remote control. This allows more precise control of fan speeds (five different speeds instead of three), comfort (automatic air exchange duration depending on the temperature sensor reading) or efficiency mode (air flow changes every 70 seconds), filter cleaning and control of the recuperator depending on the humidity level in the room - it also incorporates a humidity sensor.

Apart from the controls, the integrated humidity and temperature sensors are the biggest differentiating features between the HR and Quantum Next series. In addition, they can also be used to activate the anti-freeze mode.

  • Aerauliqa ORION series is almost indistinguishable from the Quantum NEXT recuperators: it still comes with a remote control with five different speed modes as well as a high humidity mode. The only, and most significant, difference is the integrated Modbus protocol, which allows up to 10 units to be connected to the CTRL-HO control unit. This allows not only the operation of the individual recuperators to be set in one place (changing comfort modes, humidity mode, filter cleaning, etc.), but also the synchronisation of all these units (allowing the wall-mounted recuperator system to be controlled in the same way as a centralised recuperator system would be).
