My-PV SOL-THOR is an innovative DC power manager, specifically developed for direct solar-powered heating applications. It regulates output linearly across a range of 0 to 3.6 kW, converting electricity from solar panels directly into heat without the need for an inverter, battery storage, or complex electronics. This direct-use approach minimizes energy losses and system costs while maximizing overall efficiency.
The device is compatible with standard resistive heating elements for installation in hot water boilers, as well as for regular electric boilers, and can be integrated into both new and existing installations. By connecting between 1 and 10 photovoltaic modules, SOL-THOR allows flexible system sizing according to the heating demand and available roof space. It also supports optional auxiliary heating from the power grid, ensuring reliable hot water and heating supply even during periods of low solar yield.
