The Victron BlueSolar charge controller takes energy from the solar panels and transfers it to the batteries, as well as controlling the energy transfer so that the energy is transferred in a way that maximises battery health and prolongs battery life. 

The advantage of the MPPT charge controller lies in the use of solar energy - it ensures that all possible solar energy is used. Its performance is best seen in cloudy weather when the sunlight on the panel is constantly changing.

Using a Bluetooth adapter, it is possible to remotely monitor the device using the free VictronConnect app.
