The conductivity meter LFM-2 is designed for deionisation units to monitor the conductivity level of heating water - chemically clean water is required for heat transfer. 

The quality of the water is determined by the minerals it contains, and if the quality is poor, the heating system can be damaged by scale and corrosion. The electrical conductivity of heating water shall not exceed 10 μS. This meter works by indicating the quality of the water with a simple LED indicator - when the electrical conductivity of the water reaches the 10 μS mark, the LED indicator switches from red to green.
