The single-pipe pump group of the solar system is mounted vertically, with the ball valve and thermometer on top. The pump group is part of the sanitary hot water unit of the solar collector system. The pump group shall be equipped with a flow meter to control the flow of the heat transfer medium.
A check valve is included in the ball valve. The ball valve is used as a shut-off valve which can be locked, for example, to drain the system. Turn the handle 45° clockwise to deactivate the check valve.
