PV switching device for transferring excess solar energy to the home grid
The PV switching element is the perfect solution for not letting any excess solar electricity go to waste, instead rerouting it to the home network, with the help of a micro inverter. This is especially useful in summer months, when there is a good chance the PV boiler will already be heated up in the early hours of the morning.
How does it work? Based on the PV output, the switching device assumed that the boiler has been fully heated up, and switches individual panels to the connected micro inverter - electricity is fed into the house network and covers the basic necessary load. As soon as the boiler has been completely heated up, all connected modules are switched to the micro PV inverter.
If you're worried that the boiler will be left unheated because of this, don't - the switching device will always prioritise the PV boiler before anyhting else, therefore ensuring the maximum effiecency to the entire system.
It's possible to connect up to 2000Wp worth of solar power, fed into a micro PV inverter with the max power of 800W.
