The AC ELWA 2 is a linearly controlled (0 - 3.5 kW) system that uses the electricity generated by your solar panel system to prepare hot water for both drinking water, as well as in buffer tanks for heating, thus reducing the amount of energy transferred to the grid.

Grid energy is only used to operate the heater if the required amount of solar energy is not sufficient. Linear control means that the solar energy supplied to the heater can be regulated down to 0 kW.

Thanks to its efficient operation, the AC ELWA 2 won the German Design Award 2024 in the energy category.

• Simple, easy to understand installation - the heating element and the control unit are installed in sequence; 
• Simple operation via a touch-sensitive colour display;
• Multiple control options: RJ45/Modbus TCP Ethernet, RS485/Modbus RTU, PWM-in, isolated relay contact;

• The control unit can control an additional heating element, enabling a simplified stratification effect in the tank;
