Astrel 4-noks Elios4you PV support system (PV energy redirection for hot water preparation or heat pump powering)
The 4-noks solar panel control system, using smart technology and its app, allows a simple and immediate start of the self-consumption organisation by shifting the usage times of the installation to coincide with the optimal usage times of the PV system. Self-consumption is optimised:
- By re-arranging the use of electricity to the times when the PV system produces the most electricity;
- By storing the unconsumed electricity generated, using the electric tensor to heat hot water;
- Converting the unparameterised electricity generated into another form of electricity, such as to power a heat pump.
The system accordingly divides itself into different elements which work together or in some cases (Power Reducer SA) can also work separately.
The main element of this system is the Elios4you PV Consumption Control Unit. Regardless of the inverter installed, it monitors both the electricity produced and the electricity consumed in real time. The Elios4you PV control unit includes a load control relay that can be used to supply the desired equipment (e.g. boiler or heat pump) with electricity - when a certain export threshold is exceeded, the relay switches on and transfers the required amount of power to the boiler or heat pump, compensating for the missing energy from the grid.
The Smart version of this control unit (Elios4you Smart or Elios4you Smart Pro depending on the number of phases connected) can be combined with the Smart Plug RC, which controls the running time of household appliances based on the available solar electricity, the Smart Switch RC, which allows the operation of electrical loads with a terminal (such as air conditioners, pumps or electric heating panels). The wireless signal reception radius can be increased using the ZR-REP-E230-HA signal amplifier.
To make full use of the generated electricity, returning as little of it as possible to the grid, a Power Reducer control unit is combined with the Elios4you, whereby this electricity is fed to an electric wall or electric boiler and water is heated, regardless of the amount of surplus power generated.
This unit can be used, as mentioned, with the Elios4you control unit, or on its own with the Power Reducer SA (stand alone).
These units can be combined with any electric tenon or electric boiler, as well as with a heat pump, provided that the electrical capacity of these units does not exceed 3 kW.

The Elios4you system is offered in different versions, both for new systems and for existing solar panel systems for people who want to upgrade their solar panel system:
- Elios4you (1F) and Elios4you Pro (3F for systems up to 15 kW) - control units that can monitor the operation of the solar system and, using a load control relay, transfer the excess electricity generated to an electric tenant or heat pump when a certain export threshold is exceeded. Unlike the Elios4you Smart units, conventional units cannot be connected to remote control sockets or relays;
- Elios4you Smart (1F solar panel system) control unit, which can be used to monitor the operation of the solar panel system and, when a certain export threshold is exceeded, to transfer the excess electricity generated to the electric tenor or heat pump. Unlike a normal Elios4you system, this system can control 4-knob radio sockets and relays, allowing the amount of power to be fed to the equipment (such as the electric tenant, heat pump or even normal household appliances) to be regulated in this way, with the extra electricity required being compensated by grid electricity;
- Power Reducer and Power Reducer RC (1F and 3F), which are connected to the Elios4you control unit and, using an electric heating element, heat the boiler independently of the excess power supplied (up to 3 kW) without compensating the remaining power with mains power. Unlike conventional equipment, the Power Reducer RC uses wireless (radio) communication with the control unit;
- Power Reducer SA (1F) - use of solar energy for hot water production without Elios4you control unit;
- Elios4you Smart combined with Power Reducer RC;
- Elios4you Smart combined with Power Reducer RC and Dražice heating element TJ 6/4 (2.5 kW);
- Elios4you Smart combined with Power Reducer RC and Kospel heating element (3.0 kW);
