Vacuum solar collector SolvisLuna
SolvisLuna - vacuum solar collectors from Solvis, German manufacturer and leader in hybrid heating systems, which is also able to stand out from other manufacturers in the field of solar collectors.
Thanks to an innovative mirror system, the sun's rays that do not directly hit the vacuum flasks are reflected, allowing more solar energy to be harvested with almost no loss - in some cases up to 30% more efficiency than from flat-plate solar collectors. This ensures that the SolvisLuna collector is not only a good solution if you are attracted by the heat produced by the sun but are prevented from obtaining it by the roof area or orientation, but also as a complete solar collector system.
Key product features:
- Efficient: Efficiency levels up to 90%;
- Versatile: Can be mounted on flat or sloping roofs, even if the sun does not shine directly;
- Compatible: SolvisLuna solar collectors can also be used with conventional heating and hot water systems;
- Durable: High quality solar collector from the German manufacturer Solvis.
We also offer individual solutions for solar collector systems depending on your needs (as well as an equipment and installation guarantee if installation or commissioning is carried out by our specialists). If you are interested in an individual offer, feel free to contact us.
How do SolvisLuna solar collectors work?
The reflector system of a SolvisLuna solar collector reflects the sun's rays onto vacuum tubes, which accumulate the resulting heat with virtually no loss. The technology is based on the thermos principle, in which heat loss is minimised.
The flat mirror reflects the sun's rays (1) onto the glass tube (2). The inner tube with a high selectivity coating (3) heats up to a high temperature and transfers the heat to the aluminium (6). This way, the heat is not reflected back to the outside, the collector is right there in the vacuum tube (4). The aluminium plate, in turn, heats the copper pipes (5), which contain the heat transfer medium, which passes the heat on to the heating and hot water systems. The reflector system, a flat mirror with a ceramic base (7), reflects the sun's rays onto the vacuum tubes in SolvisLuna, allowing the efficiency of the solar collector to be increased even further.
