Installing a solar panel on a motorhome or caravan is one possible solution to give these mobile homes an additional source of energy to power appliances, charge them or even provide hot water. With this solar panel kit, we want to give you a simple solution to install such a system on your own, by fixing the solar panel flat to the roof with trapezoidal fasteners - similar to what is done onroofs of residential houses. To get the maximum possible efficiency from this system, the solar panel is combined with an optimiser.

This solar panel kit for caravans or motorhomes consists of the following elements:

• 1x solar panel, 420W (panel dimensions: 1762x1134x30mm which must be taken into account when installing the panel), currently there are also 475W panels available, dimensions: 1903x1134x30mm, price does not differ;
• 1x trapezoidal brackets (to be mounted flat on the roof surface);
• 20m cable kit with connecting elements;
• Tigo TS-4-O optimiser, for the most efficient extraction of solar energy;
• Victron Energy MPPT 100 | 30 charge controller;
• (Depending on the configuration) Victron Energy 12V/110Ah AGM battery:
• (Depending on configuration) Victron Energy 12V/250VA inverter.

This solar panel kit is available in three different versions, depending on your preferences and needs - with AGM battery and inverter, with battery only or without these elements.
